Active Candidate Screening

We personally screen candidates and conduct due diligence before they can enter our childcare training program.  We demand our candidates be fundamentally fit for childcare because they will become intern assistant teachers at our son's school, play-coaches at his indoor playground, care for the children of our friends, and our son's nannies.

- Candidate application are reviewed.

- English oral proficiency interview (OPI) conducted.  Candidates are required to be functional in English (approximately intermediate-high on the ACTFL scale).

- Rose calls personal references.  Ken conducts a social media search.

Psychometric test, proctored by Rose and Ken.

- Police background checks and medical checks reviewed by Rose.

Candidates then start our supervised training program and obtain at least 200 hours of actively-managed childcare experience.
